The most common cause of this error are:
1.Not adding new license file to Innowera License Server
2.Not restarting Innowera License Server after adding new license file
3.Not restarting Innowera License Server after deleting old license file after adding a new license file
Suggested Solution:
A. On Server side
1.Please make sure that all the relevant license files (.lic) are copied in the folder where Innowera license server is running.
2.Please check for the MAC address of the computer running license server has been changed or otherwise as license files are locked to MAC address. If MAC address in license file mismatches with the actual MAC address of the computer on which license server is running, license server will not load that license file and you will face this error.
B. On Client side
1.Update the PRORDB.Lic on the client machine and ensure that it contain only the following line:
SERVER <IP Address > any <port>.
Replace <IP Address> with the actual IP address and <port> with the assigned Port number of Innowera License server.
2.If you are the administrator of the license server then, try restarting the license manager and then try to run Process Runner DB again. If you do not administrate the license server, then please contact your administrator to have the license server restarted.
**If this error is being received after the above suggested solutions also then ask your license administrator to make sure the Host ID/IP Address listed in the PRORDB.LIC file matches the Host ID/IP Address in the SERVER line.
If your issue is not resolved, please contact license@innowera.com with screen shot of specific error message and steps performed prior to encountering that error message. You can also send along 'debuglog.log' and 'licusage.log' files. Generally these files can be found where rlm.exe is running in the license server folder.
