This tab provides advanced parameters to control your process. You can control speed and delays on start and exit and finally manage connection to other files.
If the Advanced tab is not visible then refer to steps mentioned in Tabs to display the tab.
Lock File: Setting this check box prevents any changes made to this file. All the controls are put in disabled state until you remove this lock again.

This option is enabled only for Data Extractor process files.
•Character Set: Allows selecting character set from the dropdown list. Character sets are usually a set of symbols and encodings.
•Activate ATS: Enable this option to improve performance and avoid time out for large table extracts.

•Run on Open: Selecting this options forces Process Runner DB to run this file as soon as you open it.
•Exit after run: Selecting this option will force Process Runner DB to close itself down once run is over. Usually used for periodic Scheduled run. •Delay before start: You can specify how many second should Process Runner DB wait before running once it's has started. This option is useful when you Schedule Process Runner DB run. •Delay between calls: Tells Process Runner DB how many seconds to wait between each call. This is to intentionally slow Process Runner DB down. •Execute first screen only on the first call: This option executes first screen only on the first call. |
•Enable Connection: Select this check box to enable connection to another process and specify name or ID of Process Runner DB file that you want to connect. This file will also be executed if you run the current file. oLocal file: Indicates if you want to connect a local file oEShare file: Indicates if you want to connect file on EShare server. In this case, you will have to provide EShare File ID.
Right click the connected process tree.
oOpen: Opens the process file in same instance of Process Runner DB. oOpen in New Instance: Opens the process file in a new instance of Process Runner DB. oDelete: Removes the file from the connected process tree.
•Current Logon/Shortcut information: When enabled the current logon information will be used in all the downstream processes. If unchecked user has to manually enter logon information at the run time for each process. •Re-open current file after run process is finished: Tells Process Runner DB to re-open current file once all the follow on files are processed successfully. Please note if there are any errors during the run, Process Runner DB will stop on that file and will not open the master (current) file. So this setting is only effective if there are no errors during the run. •Allow Run-Only user to make changes: This option is unchecked by default. When enabled, Run only users can also change the Process Connection. |
