Lock file settings prevent making changes to the opened process file. The controls are put in disabled state until the lock is removed. There are various levels at which locks can be assigned in a process file.
This section allows to enable/disable actions that can be performed by user on current process file. Run: When checked, user cannot run the process file. The following message will be displayed on clicking Run button. Uncheck the checkbox to enable run operation. Test Run: When checked, user cannot test run the process file. Error message similar to above is displayed on clicking Test Run button. Debug Run: When checked, user cannot perform debug run of the process file. Error Processing Run: When checked, user cannot perform error processing run. User cannot Save the file without valid password: User cannot save any changes done in the process file without entering the valid password. For this lock to work, password protection should be enabled for the process file. User cannot Open the file without valid password: User cannot open the process file without entering the valid password. •User cannot change Control Parameters: When checked, disables the Control Parameters section under Home tab. This section allows to set various lock options related to database in Home tab, iTable. •User cannot change Database settings on Home tab: When checked/enabled, the Database Settings section under Home tab will be disabled and user cannot make any changes in it. •User cannot change iTable: When enabled, user cannot add/edit/delete data in iTable. The iTable data will be locked but user can run the process. •User cannot change Mapper: When enabled, user cannot perform any changes in the Mapper tab. •User cannot change Scheduler Setting: When enabled, user cannot add/edit/delete schedules. |
Set password for the Save/Open operations for the process file. The “Password is required for these operations” when unchecked, will remove the lock set for the Open and Save operations. |
This section allows to enter the contact details of the person to be contacted in case of incorrect password. |
