MM02 - Basic data 1 view selection

Sometimes due to SAP behavior it becomes difficult to use the same recording for different material types.

To overcome this & generate a recording that would work for all material types, Process Runner will suggest a way in which recording needs to be done.

Refer the below Screenshot. As soon as you enter MM02 in transaction code & hit Start Recording, it will suggest you how to go about selecting a different tab in Select Views(s) dialogue.

When you are in the Select View(s) screen, select ‘Basic Data 1’ (or you can also select ‘Basic Data 2’).

** No matter whichever selection you want, always select Basic Data 1 first & hit enter.

Once in the next screen, you can now switch to whichever tab selection you want from the drop down as shown below.

This will ascertain that your recording will work for almost all material types.

This will take you to the respective tab selection.

Following this, will produce best results for your Material Management transactions & you won’t have to produce a separate customized recording for different material types.
