How to resolve "User has no RFC authorization" error message

When encountering error message "User 'name' has no RFC authorization for function group SYST. RFC ERROR LOGON FAILURE similar to one shown in below screenshot, please follow these instructions.

If required authorization is missing in SAP profile of user, Process Runner will display the error message as above. In most cases, Process Runner communicates to SAP via RFC. If user has the required RFC authorization assigned and is able to logon to SAP server using SAP GUI, then that user will be able to use Process Runner.

Missing authorization should be added to SAP profile of the user. Only your SAP security team can do this (Innowera cannot help with this). Please contact your SAP security team and ask them to assign missing authorization by sending them error screen shot.

Also, it is recommended that you request the following profiles to ensure optimal performance of Process Runner.

SAP Auth Object	Function Group	Authorization of Function Group
S_RFC	SYST	Mandatory
	RFC1	Workaround possible if user doesnot have access
	SBDC	Mandatory
	SIGE, BATG, SDTX	Process Runner will continue to work even if user doesnot have access. (Note: These are useful for message text at transaction run time.)
Additional requirement for Process Runner Designer User
S_RFC	SBDR	Workaround possible with alternative authorization. (Note: User with no access to this group cannot record new transaction process.)
