This problem occurs when Process Runner is trying to acquire a license which is not installed on License Server.
The most common cause of this error are:
1.Not adding correct/new server license file ('.lic' file provided by Innowera) to Innowera License Server. 2.Not restarting Innowera License Server after adding/removing license from Innowera License Server. 3.If MAC Address in server license file mismatches with the actual MAC address of the computer on which the License Server is running.
Suggested Solution:
A. On Server side
1.Ensure that all the relevant license files (.lic) are copied in the folder where Innowera License Server is running.
2.As the server license file is locked to MAC address make sure to check if the MAC address of the computer (where Innowera License Server is running) is same as the one which is in the server license file , If there is a mismatch, contact license@innowera.com .
B.On Client side
1.Update the ProR.Lic on the client machine, ask the License Administrator to make sure that the Host ID/IP Address in the ProR.Lic file matches with the Host ID/IP Address of the License Server and ensure that it contains only the following line: Replace <IP Address> with the actual IP address and <port> with the assigned Port number of Innowera License Server.
2.If you are the administrator of the License Server then, try restarting the License Server and then try to run Process Runner again. If you do not administrate the License Server, then please contact your administrator to have the License Server restarted.
If still the issue is not resolved, contact license@innowera.com with screen shot of specific error message and steps performed prior to encountering that error message. Send along 'debuglog.log' and 'licusage.log' files. Generally these files can be found where rlm.exe is running in the License Server folder. |
