How to leave data fields unchanged

Scenario: In case one needs to suppress one or multiple fields during execution. This can be achieved in two ways. One can suppress a particular field in Mapper using ‘Dynamic Skip’ options and in case if needs to suppress multiple fields (i.e. do not want to send the values for those fields during execution), you can use the advanced feature ‘Disable mapped fields if mapped value in Excel’.

One can perform “Suppress field on Zero”, “Suppress field on Blank” or “Suppress field on Blank or Zero”. For our convenience, we will take “Suppress field on Blank or Zero” to cover both the cases.

Instead of entire Row if we want to suppress only selected fields, we can use DS type "Suppress Field on Blank or Zero or Space(s)".

You may use ‘Disable mapped fields if mapped value in Excel is’ option in Advanced tab to leave the data values unchanged during the execution. This advance option will disable (not send) SAP fields when certain condition is met.

Steps to be follow to suppress multiple values:

I.Go to ‘Advanced’ tab in Process Runner.

II.Select ‘Expert’ tab in Excel Controls.

III.Use ‘Disable mapped field if mapped value’ option.

a.Excel cell is: Check mark ‘Excel cell is’ option and enter the particular symbol such as back slash (/). This will suppress the fields where (/) is encountered in the Excel data during execution. This option is applicable to all the fields where ‘/’ is mentioned in Excel cell as shown in below screenshot.

b.Excel cell is blank: Check marks ‘Excel cell is blank’ option to suppress to fields during execution.
