How to Activate Process Runner License

This section provides guidelines on the activation procedure of Process Runner license. Initially the Process Runner is installed as demo version with limited functionality. The functionality depends on license key that is activated with Process Runner.

Once the license is received from Innowera, then license activation is to be performed using following two methods.

Following are the three methods for online license activation of Process Runner.

Splash screen is the one that is displayed at the startup of Process Runner. Follow the steps mentioned below for license activation through this Splash Screen.

1.Start Process Runner

2.At the Splash Screen, click on 'Activate Product' button as shown in the image below.

3.Innowera License Activation window is displayed, enter the license information and click on 'Next'. Refer the table and image mentioned below to fill the details.

Field	Description
Company Name	Enter the Company name that you want Process Runner to display when it starts.
Display Name	Enter the name that you want Process Runner to display when it starts. For e.g: John Smith.
License Key	Enter the license key as provided by Innowera.

4.Click on ‘Confirm And Activate Now’ button under the Product license activation confirmation section to activate the license.

5.Product activation window is displayed and Process Runner will restart.

Splash_Activated

Follow the steps given below to activate the license through 'Manage License' at 'Help' option.

1.Start Process Runner.

2.Select 'Manage License' from the drop down menu of 'Help' option.

3. Innowera License Activation window is displayed, enter the license information. Refer the table and image mentioned below to fill the details.

Field	Description
Company Name	Enter the Company name that you want Process Runner to display when it starts.

License Key	Enter the license key as provided by Innowera.

4.Click on ‘Confirm And Activate Now’ button under the Product license activation confirmation section to activate the license.

5.Product activation window is displayed and Process Runner will restart.

Splash_Activated

Process Runner users might need to activate an expired license. Expand the following toggles to acquire guidelines for activating existing Process Runner license.

User are facilitated to extend the existing license key of Process Runner rather than a new License Key. Follow the steps given below to extend the existing license key.

1.At the License Check window of Process Runner, Click on 'Manage License' to start license activation process.

2.'Innowera License Activation' window is displayed, click on 'Change License Info' button to edit the fields if required and click Next. Refer to the table and image below

License Key	Enter the license key as provided by Innowera.

3.Click on ‘Confirm And Activate Now’ button under the Product license activation confirmation section to activate the license.

4.Product activation window is displayed and Process Runner will restart.

Splash_Activated

Follow the below mentioned steps of procedure to activate the Process Runner license offline.

1.Start Process Runner.

2.Select 'Manage License' from drop down menu of 'Help'.

3.Enable 'Extend License Offline' and enter the License information.

4.It will display the 'Offline Activation' popup with steps to activate the license offline.

5.Click 'OK'.

6.'Offline License Activation' window is displayed in the browser as shown in the image below.

7.Enter the General Information and browse the location of "LicinfoToupload.XML" file path. Default location of "LicinfoToupload.XML" file is "Libraries\Documents\Innowera\Lic".

Note: "LicInfoToUpload.XML" is the file which is automatically generated during offline license activation process.

8.Enter the displayed captcha code and click on 'Submit'.

9.The Offline Activation Acknowledgment page is displayed.

10. An Email is sent to the email address which is implemented in offline activation process and further instructions are notified to lead towards successful activation of license.
