Users can implement Pre/Post Script or Custom Process which is an additional feature through which any internal VB Script, Java Script or VB.Net Script can be executed before/after execution of Process file or externally without involvement of SAP in the scenario. Usually when Pre-Post Scripts are created for their execution before/after process file, SAP connection is established. This section of document will provide guidelines to send email using post scripts using 'TaskScheduleManager' tool.
Send Email in Post Script using Task Schedule Manager tool
Below are the generic steps to send email using Post script functionality. 1.Go to 'Post Script' option from Custom Script and Delays group of 'Edit' ribbon tab. 2.Ensure to activate check-mark for 'Post-Run Process' option and select 'Internal Script' from drop-down menu. 3.Select 'Vb Script' or 'Java Script' or 'VB.Net Script' from the drop-down menu.
4.Now write down the required script corresponding to the selected option from drop-down menu as shown in the image below. Click on the image to enlarge.
5.Click on OK. When user will click on 'Run' button to execute the process file, the mail will be sent as configured in the post script after the execution of Process file.
