Generate Excel Add-in Ready file

This topic describes how you can share the Excel Add-in Ready file generated in Process Runner with other users who can run the file in Process Runner Excel Add-in; the users do not have to install Process Runner on their computers.

Note: User having Process Runner designer license can generate Excel Add-In file and users having Process Runner run-only license cannot generate or save the Process file in Process Runner Excel Add-in.

To generate Excel add-in ready file

  1. Open the Process file for which you want to generate the Excel Add-in Ready file and select Save as Excel Add-in Ready File... option. The Generate Excel Add-in Ready file window is displayed.
  2. Select the Process file and select Generate.
  3. Save the Excel file with .xlsx extension and select OK.
  4. Close Process Runner.
  5. To run the file in Process Runner, perform the following steps:
    1. Open Excel and from the Process Runner tab, open the saved Excel file.
    2. Click Run and enter the valid SAP logon credentials.

You can also connect multiple Process files in Process Runner and run in Process Runner Excel Add-in.
