Enable Trust Access to VBA Projects

This topic describes how to ensure that Microsoft Excel can run the Visual Basic macros in the workbooks and add-ins when the security is properly set. Trusting access to the VBA project object model enables the add-ins to function properly.

To enable Trust access to the VBA project

  1. In Microsoft Excel, select File > Options. The Excel Options window is displayed.
  2. Select Trust Center > Trust Center Settings. The Trust Center window is displayed.
  3. Select Macro Settings and selectTrust access to the VBA project object model.
  4. Select OK. The trust access is enabled for the VBA project object model.

Important: Close Process Runner instance and then enable Trust Access in Excel. If not, your updates are not saved. When Process Runner is restarted after you have enabled trust access, you can select Insert “Run with Process Runner” button to worksheet.
