The transaction ME51N is used to create a PR and has superseded transaction ME51. PR stands for purchase requisition. Its nothing but a purchase request made to purchasing department to fetch the materials required. ME51N is an ENJOY transaction. This transaction requires that the information is entered in a single screen, while the old ME51 transaction is split across several screens. This transaction requires the entry of a material or account assignment category.
As usual , ME52N is used to modify or maintain PR's and ME53N is used to view PR's created.
