View Easy Workflow Dashboard
This topic describes the Easy Workflow Dashboard that is displayed when you log on to Easy Workflow Cockpit. The dashboard provides the following details:
- Integrates information from multiple components
- Enables visibility of all systems, and therefore the ability to make informed decisions at a glance
- Displays important warning messages and summary such as the number of users, groups, and workflows and also the details about the Easy Workflow database and Easy Workflow service
The dashboard is displayed in the Flow Layout if Flow Layout was set as the default layout.
To view detailed information on dashboard
- In the Easy Workflow Dashboard window, select Tools > Layout Type > Dashboard Layout. The detailed and segmented view is displayed.
- In the Workflow section, the following information is displayed:
- Total Workflow: Displays the number of active and inactive workflows. Click the link to go to the Workflow List window of Easy Workflow Cockpit.
- Total Workitems: Displays the number of work items.
- Total Pending Workitems: Displays the number of pending work items. Click the link to go to Pending Workitems List dialog box that displays the pending work item details. Click + to expand the selected workflow to view information such as the file ID, file name, and the step status. You can right-click a work item to view its status in the Workitem Status dialog box.
- In the Reports section, the following information is displayed:
- Workitem Status: Displays a pie chart with each slice representing the proportion of pending, completed, rejected, and terminated work items. Click each slice to view the reports in preview mode.
- Delayed Workitems: Displays a bar graph that displays workflows with the five most delayed work items. You can hover over a column in the graph to see the workflow name and the time of delay, and click any column to display the Delayed Workitems Grouped by Workflow report. - In the User and Group section, warning messages are displayed if the users, user groups, or autorun error notification emails are not configured. You can click the links to view additional information.
- In the Email Settings section, the email server settings and the number of failed emails are displayed. For information about email settings, see Configure Email Settings.
- In the Easy Workflow Service section, the details of the Easy Workflow service such as the version details, current status of service, and log files are displayed.

Pending email or autorun tasks are also displayed as warning messages.
- In Easy Workflow Database section, the details of the Easy Workflow database such as the server on which it is installed, database name, database version, and version of installed database are displayed. If the database is incompatible, a message is displayed to indicate that you must upgrade the database.
- Optionally, perform the following steps in Tools:
- Select a date in Failed Items Filter to filter the failed email items. The count of Total Failed Items in Email Settings section is updated.
- Select the sections in Visibility and the type of layout in Layout Type that must be displayed in the Easy Workflow Dashboard window.
